Planning to Sell Garlic SEED at Garlic Fest? Please Read!!

As part of our commitment to responsible garlic production, vendors interested in selling garlic seed at Maine’s Garlic Festival will be required to have their crops tested for spreadable diseases. The University of Maine Cooperative Extension offers a comprehensive test that checks for garlic nematode bloat, botrytis, and white rot.

Certification will be required for festival registration as a garlic seed vendor.

Registration fee is for the site only and vendor must provide their own display, tent, tables, etc.

Vendor registrations will be limited and assigned on a first come first serve basis. Site assignments will factor the type of products being sold, previous festival attendance as well as the timing of registration.

Important Information

Payment is required at the time of registration. Your registration will be reviewed and if approved, you will receive an approval via email.

If your registration is denied, you will be notified and receive a full refund.

The festival committee reserves the right to accept or reject any vendor registration and determine final placement of the vendors selling products at Maine's Garlic Festival. Our intent is to provide the best experience for both our vendors and patrons of the festival. We feel the right mix of food vendors, craft vendors and others, spread throughout the festival grounds will help in reaching this goal. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancelation and Refund Policy

Vendors who cancel their registration before August 1, 2026 will receive a 50% refund. If the vendor cancels after August 1, 2026 the vendor forfeits their entire registration fee and no refunds or credits will be given.

If the organizer cancels Garlic Fest because of weather or other circumstances beyond their control, vendors will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee for the days that are canceled. The remaining 50% will be credited as a voucher that can be used to register for next year’s event.
